Third of all, the reason why I am calling it irresponsible as you cannot randomly call a number in your report.
It's no more irresponsible than calling a price target of 40c, or 60c, or the Legume Target of $1. The only difference is, you don't like the number this time. And neither do I.
I never really pay attention to the targets anyway, I don't think I've ever seen a bullish price target the last few years in a spec stock that has been met, the market is just so skittish and panicky that it doesn't matter what the true valuation of a stock is, the market won't reflect it.
And that's happening now with COK. A few months ago they were raising funds at 53c. Now what? 21c? They'll have to issue twice as many shares to raise the same amount of money.
Debt becomes a problem too because COK's market cap has just halved since the SK deal fell through, and the smaller the market cap the less money lenders will be willing to part with.
Anyone who thinks this is not an issue is deluding themselves. I do think coal stocks in general are heavily oversold and will bounce back, but I don't know if COK will get back towards 40c, which means a worse outcome for holders.
