With respect Gooch, what a joke. If they are buying how is that driving the shareprice down.
The share price action has more to do with the action in the broad gold mining sector which has been copping a hammering. AMX being an explorer is a bit more vulnerable than some of the producers. Until the sector as a whole starts to turn back up, which may take some time (it may get worse), may be influenced by the broad stock market, then I don't see the AMX share price moving up barring any spectacular hits.
Despite all this i am holding for the long term. I want to be there for the run up which I believe eventually will happen but I am certainly not holding my breath assuming it will happen soon.
If things remain bad or get worse i'll be looking to take a nibble here and there as my income and money management allows.
