BTRs results were from DEEP (from approx 200M if I remember correctly)...they were NOT from surface.
Big difference. They will need probably a billion bucks to start mining it underground at a sufficient rate to make it viable. Probably more actually.
SYR on the other hand just needs a dirt cheap open pit and with ZERO dilution and strip ratio since the surface is part of the resource and its consistent! And the metallurgy is so easy, the plant will be cost peantus ($100-150M probably which is nothing given the project size).
BTR might well end up being a good company, but in the end it wont compare to SYR. So not a great yardstick to compare it too.
