Rogorogers relayed to us that Anglo tried for an injuction against Nkwe gaining a mining right for Garatau and couldnt. Interesting that they manged to obtain one against a project Platinum Australia are farming into. Anglo also asked for a exemption from PAJA requirements (rejected) from which I gather they are no longer happy with the appeals process with the DMR and possibly the length of time involved.

Whats that mean for us? Perhaps a judge see's a stronger case pertaining to the rights for Nkwe but I also think this will go to the courts if this stance by Anglo is anything to go by. If Anglo is against the length of time PAJA takes whats the reason? Does it mean time is our friend making it harder and harder for for the decision to be overturned. What does it mean if a JV partner requires absolute legal certainty to proceed?
