Monty you are missing the point they announced that they would release the results by the end of May and they will. Does the NAB release results earlier than the nominated time frame? Your other point that if they released the results earlier the SP wouldn't be where it is now. You are purely talking in hindsight the board isn't Nostradamus and cannot look into a crystal ball and know exactly the right time to release news. Who knows where the SP might sit on a given day or given month we are living in volatile times at the moment. What would you have said if the SP was at a higher level now at not where it is today would you be saying the company is excellent for waiting the extra 1 or 2 weeks?

IMO companies cant foresee things like that, obviously every board wants to release news at a good time like when the market is steady but sometimes there are things that are out of control of the board. So in a nutshell I think its easy throwing stones at the board saying they should have released the announcement earlier and blaming them for the SP being where it is but in my view if they were ready they would have made the announcement but obviously they weren't.
