personally anything negative i post about nmdc is out of pure frustration. i held lcy and thought they had the goods from a fundamental perspective. i think they still do. but this relationship lcy have with nmdc has done nothing but slow them down (imo) and create general unrest in the investment community that have an interest in lcy. lcy could have had more balls and gone further into the mt bevan development on their own with haw. unfortunatelt management decided the best option for lcy was to dilute shareholders by 50% at a price of approx 8c a share. we can all harp on about how apparantly nmdc is bringing an open cheque book for finance but if lcy had of gone it alone for longer dilution would probably be less than it is now and it would have occurred at a higher price. i feel lcy management let their shareholders down in that respect. now before it turns into a lcy/haw debate i only bought haw as i thought there was the potential for a short term gain (which has not come to fruition yet unfortunately for me!) but i originally bought lcy because they seemed very astute, low shares on issue and had a real focus on mt bevan and were actively selling it. now all we see since nmdc coming onboard is rubbish from the indian media or news about how some other nmdc chairman is coming to australia for his free lunch.
the fact that nmdc couldn't do anything with rio for 3 years with their mou or whatever it was is a real issue imo and it just seems that lcy are now at the mercy of nmdc management and their jobs for the boys.
hopefully however for lcy holders it all works out and my negativity towards nmdc is proved wrong.
