palestines (philistines?) were there first (everyone knows this), their ancestors came via the canaanites in early 3000 BC or something. their influences stemmed from surrounding egypt, syria, asia minor and mesopatamia.. the canaanites (or palestinians) were first conquered by the Egyptions (egypt was in palestine before the hebrews). To deny that will be denying the truth. To deny the truth will make you perma ignorant. When Egyption power weakened in 14th century bc a confederation of Hebrew tribes called themselves the Israelites came along to establish their own community on Philistine soil, then comes along King of David in 1000 bc ?
