property glut hits victoria, page-9

the land value of my parents property purchased in 1940, for 5000 pounds is worth about more than 5 million today, easily....no changes, additions, enhancements...purely land value
and that is in a regional city...far from the maddening crowd of the inner city dog boxes
WW2 was still in progress.....and they were barely out of the great depression
I dont know about you guys, but regardless of everything in the past 70 odd years, it still looks like a great investment, a valuable asset in most peoples view.....
