When the announcement comes, it will probably be accompanied with a spoon full of sugar.
When management does something that they suspect will be viewed unfavorably (because the market does not understand how clever they are), they will typically provide a positive announcement on something else to balance things out. This avoids analysts being able to directly link a fall in share price with managements actions.
Odds are you will get some drill results or a resource upgrade with the "strategic / corporate activity" announcement.
