Unless you gross over 90Kpa in Perth you can't save a dime. You can't buy anything in Perth without paying a 10-20% premium to what it would cost in Melb or Sydney, and you can't buy anything in Sydney and Melb without paying a 10-20% premium than what it would cost in 99.9% of major cities in the world. Doing the math, living in Perth is no picnic.
