Justis, if you think Turnbull is the man, have a look at the newspoll that was taken not long before he was dumped.

He was polling worse than Abbott is now and way behind Rudd. Why would you think he would be any better now? Labor were ahead in the 2pp and it was only since Abbott took over that the polls began to change in the libs favour.

It seems that Abbott is the man for now, at least.

And, Turnbull wouldn't likely repeal the carbon tax. That is a big trump card for Abbott as this tax is not wanted (only accepted provided people get compensated in full...lol).
