I thought Marcus Atkinson's response was quite reasonable. Stopping LAMP is not his agenda, unlike the Tan Bun Teet and the Wong Tack of SMSL.

But some of the points he raised got me curious. The water evaporation which he says is regarded as worlds best practice but which Lynas isn't using, and instead Lynas will simply pump the water back into the rivers around the wetlands. Is this true? Is this what Lynas plans on doing? I'm happy with Lynas saying they'll recycle waste into saleable products. But if Lynas is really going to just pump the waste water back into rivers around the wetlands as claimed then I'd say Lynas should seriously re-consider this aspect. How much cost per kilo will be added to the cost of the product if Lynas were to build such a water evaporation system? I'm curious.
