Hastie Group Ltd new chief executive Bill Wild has harshly criticised the company's governance and growth strategies, calling its effort to jump-start growth through acquisitions “completely flawed”, according to a report by The Australian.
“For the love of me, I can't work out why they kept the business decentralised,” Mr Wild said, according to The Australian. “All it did was raise overheads, which were double what they could have been.”
Mr Wild called Hastie's structure “a gaggle” of companies, adding that “from a management point of view, it was a complete disaster,” according to the newspaper.

Can see some parallels with PPX with its many subsidiaries and secondary Boards. I know they have started addressing this issue but are they moving fast enough?
