I am an analyst.

Truth of it is, that, IF this asset was one that was an appropriate fit for NST, then their entry vehicle was very clever and well timed. If I were advising them (on the transaction, not the asset) I would be pleased with my work.

The VWAP they quoted for entry was after a shocking week for equities, they have ended up with a sizable stake without moving the market and at half the cost of a couple of weeks prior.

I actually think that the asset is not bad either, BUT the strategy is at odds with the reason that the shareholders holding the float bought NST stock.

One silly thing that they did in drafting the announcement was to make it sound like BB is bailing out one of his old mates. DUMB drafting.

Non Binding MOUs also shout incomplete strategy.

I am not saying that this is a bad deal at all. My point is it is not a deal that this company needs to be successful.
