If UC3 was full of oil there would be no need to sidetrack this well. They would just complete it in the UC3 and let the good times roll.
UC3 was oil-bearing at IVCO 14 but the implication here is that it is not. If it had been, they would have explicitly said "UC3 recovered oil."
The most likely explanation is that this well probably intersected UC3 below the OWC. This negatively affects the volumetrics of UC3 - but since it wasn't included in the CPR, the influence on Gazelle as a whole is minimal.
The non-development of UC1 is more worrying for the volumetrics if it turns out to be a facies change instead of just a local feature.
