Howdy All
I can appreciate the frustration of many at the moment.
My understanding is that the drilling at BM will be completed next week (and no doubt an ASX ann release will occur accordingly as has happened in the past).
Then, I assume, a few more weeks for coal analysis and then a several more weeks for JORC.
So, JORC ann likely late Jul-Aug time from my estimation. Again, I do not see JVA occuring before the JORC ann because (whilst the JV is not reliant upon the JORC) - it doesn't make sense to ann the JV before the JORC.
Whilst we SH's may get frustrated with the lack of anns (and fair enough) - I see this works in MNM's favour to quietly achieve the milestones without bringing undue publicity from the anti-coal lobby. Believe me, they are just waiting for MNM to make a false move to create media drama - which I'm sure IK does not want. So, again I assume, IK is playing it by the book.
For mine, the fundamentals are as strong as ever - the JORC will be at the upper end of the 1-2 billion tonnes, the drilling is almost completed, the JV is still progressing (not canned), plenty of BC publicity in general, we have rail infrastructure in place (not 50 km away like NRU), a state Govt that needs cash, etc.
Whilst I agree that MNM have not been on the proactive side in relation to anns and (apart from the NP order over MtM which couldn't be released as MtM tenement was not MNM's at the time), what negative ann has been released by MNM? I don't recall any - they have always been positive. If SH lose patience and sell, so be it.
I'm sure all will be revealed in the next few months.
So for me, I'm buying at these levels (and no HM, the 300 odd sells on Tue on the market close into the 250K buyer were not one in the same) and will continue to do so.
Hopefully, come August, I will be looking back at this time and thinking I should have bought more!
Cheers K
