I must say you are very much a loyalist when it comes to shareholding.

I think you fail to respect that there are many different trading strategies. Some people like to keep note of the going on's of many many different stocks even if they aren't invested, incase the stars ever line up and create a decent buying opportunity at that point in time.

This is what jefferies has done, he has seen a strong case for a rise in SP, taken a chance and punted on GCN.

This doesn't mean he believes the company will be the next tech giant, he just sees a chance to make some money.

You often try and belittle his motives as a second class to your own because you are a long term shareholder, as if that makes you better than him.

If he is stating facts about the company, be it negative or positive, you should be thanking him, so long as its the truth it is useful in your decisions. I have no doubt, he has taught you atleast one thing about GCN, as he has taught me quite a few also through his research.
