don't you read the papers or listen to the news?? Nearly everyday another company goes under or overseas costing thousands of jobs.Small businesses are folding daily and taking jobs out with them. Mines take decades and billions of dollars to develop and cannot change course overnight,which will be a big problem once they have gone overseas as it will take decades to get them back.We are not the only country with ore and coal,just the most convenient and stable at the moment.This can change.
