Why should we judge her family decisions, Justis? We don't know all the circumstances to make a fair judgement anyway.
And, she might be being a responsible grandma. Some kids (up to the age of around 40) can be highly irresponsible with money. Not saying that applies to Gina's grandkids, but we don't know all the facts.
I know a 25 year old guy who came into a large inheritence. Went into drugs, women and drink and stopped working. Unfortunately, he is the father of one of my grandkids (who is too busy with his new lifestyle to have anything to do with his family now, including a little five year old who misses him very much).
Sometimes too much money too soon can be a bad thing. Again I say, I don't think we have enough information to judge.
