Our market is getting slaughtered but for all the wrong reasons. The oil price is getting hammered but it will only be temporary. World conventional crude oil production is declining at over 5% per annum. Unconventional energy sources are helping but they are very expensive. This expensive energy is killing the world.

And that is why we are entering the Golden Age of Gas.

This latest recession will get people to realise that there is a plentiful cheap energy source right on our doorstep. GAS. Have a google at what is happening in the USA. Gas demand is soaring as power stations back out coal and automotive conversions are all the rage. Have a look at Japan that has just shut down all its 54 reactors.

Gas is the worlds saviour.

This gas thing has only just started. But getting back to WCL I was a bit disappointed in the LNG lease extension until I realised that this could be particularly good foe WCL as it further establishes itself as a Class act. Thosr tables/charts released today were impressive.

This market will change. We have been living beyond our means on $100 oil. It is time to go gas.

WCL is very well placed going forward. For all the good reasons that can be found on this site.
