Thanks for the figures Pitman. @ 3mt p/a domestic (based on $6.80 profit per tonne) we're looking at $20.4m profit p/a, but as oblong says export is where the real $$$ is at. It would be safe to assume the profit margin on export sales would be at least double that of the domestic market, so that adds another $40+m profit. $60m at 6mtpa annualised over life of mine (not accounting for ramp up production) = 124 years * $60m = $7.440 billion total profit (on 35% total land area). About what I predicted earlier. Also need to consider Probable upside based on higher actual profit margin per tonne of export sales and possible upside on rising price of coal.

If after equity placement we end up with say 800 million shares on the register, we should be valued at $9.30 per share based on saleable reserves. Land ownership, rail link buy back and increased resource tonnage can only add to our underlying value. At that price most of us here would be millionaires a few times over. This is why I will NOT be selling any shares in RES. I understand your reason for selling hdavid but personally I don't have the balls to realise a loss in the hope of getting in cheaper on the buy back. GL mate.
