Well the poor performances of the Asian and Australian markets today certainly does not pre-empt any rally in the US tonight.
I see Europe is generally opening lower too.
And gold is holding around US$350.
It looks to me like Bush's stimulus package to be announced tonight is a case of buy the rumour and sell the fact.
