rewind 4 years, page-7

Well I can speak from personal experience here.....I joined BHP/BHP Steel/Bluescope in 1995 and took the money and ran last Nov after 16 and 1/2 years at the company.

I sold my BSL for $12.02 a few years ago because I needed cash, and I thank god I did!!!

I left because I really thought BSL is doomed and destined not to exist in less than 5yrs. I rang a guy I worked with there yesterday who still works there and he has told me a huge chuck of guys in my old dept are ready to jump ship as soon as another VRS offer is made. A lot are regretting not jumping when I did.

The biggest problem with BSL is it's management culture, everyone's worried about impressing the next troll up the ladder and so on and so on.......to the point where they are not focused on the immediate needs of the business........it's a complete joke.

I aired my dirty laundry before I left and let management know what I thought.....but seriously they don't care......

They just want drones there, who will do whatever their told to, no questions asked.......even at the expense of the business.

My advice.......Get out of the stock.
