CMC: I'm pretty sure it's NOT covered by the govt guarantee. It's got HIN.

One thing that annoyed me was that I placed an order in auction at 0.5c and since it was 25% over the previous bid, it got delayed and ended up paying 0.5c instead of 0.4c! That's 25% more! I complained, but they said it's automatic. I asked Bell Direct what their policy is and they said it's the same - it would be delayed.

Since then, I've noticed that bids that are much above the previous close, even if it's only one pip above the highest bid, still gets delayed. So be careful.

What are other people's experiences with this problem? Is there a broker that doesn't delay your order in auctions?
