yes, this story was on ABC TV (Lateline) the night before as well... there is indeed a thread about it.

Quite a good and balanced story (I thought, although others disagreed)..

The reality is that the LAMP does indeed, have the potential to cause some seats to be lost (or not regained). I agree with this 100%.

The problem for the gov. is... what do they do ?

I thought a snap election but another thread has shed more light as to why this may be a very unwise move (the opposition does not need to allow it's seats to go to an early election so the government would be fighting to retain their own seats, then fighting another battle.. I have another theory on this but will not talk about it here).

So they are stuck, like a deer in the headlights.. anyway I digress.

The story could have far better for Lynas.. but geez, knowing how ABC can be (with heaps of influence from Greenies), it sure has hell could have been a lot worse.
