best comfort food for tuff times ie, asx blues, page-21

    If a fruit salad is your comfort food then it's not a fail Trees. But here in Melb, it's been around 12/13/14 everyday for the past week and I've been outside for most of those days - the last thing I'd want is a fruit salad after such exposure to those Arctic winds; I'd be burning calories just to stoke up the body temperature. There's a natural tendency to gravitate towards hi carb/protein/fatty foods and shun foods with high fibre/water content.

    Whereas the warmer months changes all that with salads and the like being the norm. I don't know where you live, but my guess it's not as cold as in the south.
