From gloom to boom can only be days diffference, today should be a good day but regardless if Xstrata want this resource, and i suspect they do they would be crazy to leave it to 1 Jul as others WILL join the party - why compete when you have exclusivity (via the current option) to negotiate a deal that they have already spent good money on. The L-T fundamentals for copper are strong and these majors plan for L-T trends not day to day movements.
