despite the last minute surprise from the russians i think nick will get the funding needed. he cops a lot of criticism but getting funding is his forte.
i've had worse species where they run out of funding and no gold in earshot. the goods are there at woods point, now somebody just has to pony up.
who knows, maybe the chillee didn't have the funds.
