Big technical breakdown in gold price on high volume, could have been the QE ers spitting the dummy with FED not giving precise plans of more crack handouts, or china rate cut indicating China making a move because their data is slowing faster than forecast, either way usd recovered, commodities smashed........

Depending on short term leverage, might revisit 2480, but will watch gold to see a rebound but i suppose that will depend on their inflation data...

Whilst it looked like a technical breakdown as 1634 failed to hold and 1600 collapsed, it may have been spurred by central bank selling in europe as spain rating slashed and a cheaper way to raise quick cash for expected bailouts....

Sell or cash in your protection...going to be rough today as gold in the headlines but for the wrong reason...
