I'm Oz based. In the other threads for stocks i have or have an interest in (oil & gas for example), posters who are knowledgeable and may have done a lot of research are typically quite willing to share the knowledge and opinions of the impact of future company activity on the bottom line and hence the SP. Opinions differ but well discussed points generally settle on a consensus and understanding for readers. The whole shareholder base becomes more informed and educated in the sector and its stocks.
They don't really have a 'i had to do it the hard way so you do to' attitude to obtaining or sharing knowledge or opinions. Amazing.
You do realize that the more people you get into the stock the better for it.
