Slampoil and others, wondering if you have any thoughts regarding this:

"On 4 August 2010 the Company (OBL) and Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd (ASX code LNG) signed a non-exclusive Strategic Alliance Agreement (SAA) in respect of natural gas, coal seam gas and shale gas in the Canning Basin, Western Australia for the purpose of evaluation and the appropriate development of projects and in particular an LNG production facility in the Canning Basin Region using feedstock from OBL."

Just wondering if you had heard anything about an actual development in the Canning Region and whether it could have any relevance to BRU?

I have been having a look into all the ports closest to the Canning Basin. In particular, I looked at Broome, as they do have some petroleum infrastructure, 120k barrel storage and short pipeline for I believe loading/storing? - that KBO (Kimberely Oil sold in 2006) to BP Australia. Cant find a darn thing as to whether it is being used utilized however, I do not believe it is, as I know of no production nearby except for Blina. Wondering if that is a possible location for future expansion, as it is the closest semi-developed port to the Canning Basin, or storage of Ungani oil in the short term - 120k barrels = $7.2 million at $60 profit per barrel. Is that a viable amount to justify shipping south etc?

Idle thoughts while I continue to read.
