IMHO - perfectly reasonable of you to urge caution with this strategy. I entirely agree it could be counterproductive if not managed intelligently, as I think tototy is doing and the danger, as you highlight is further negative press which the big boys exploit and more retail punters get shaken out. I think the timing is key and I don't think this could have been contemplated before now.
But as of midnight the minister has crossed a line in the sand IMO.
