Thing is kid was already at the hospital. He died hours later. It's a sad story but not sure if it was preventable or if Asthma sense is the answer. Time wasn't an issue. If anything probably need an automatic defibrillator at all schools.

But I agree their could be an argument to get government to put our hardware in schools/public places, but it would need to be the Wheezometer imo. You wouldn't buy a smartphone and app and just store it in a school cupboard while paying Optus $30/month.

Obviously the AsthmaSense app is designed for personal use, although it is capable of multi-user application. But it is aimed at asthma management and repeated monitoring. Not one-off monitoring at a doctors clinic or school setting.

Watch this space imo. Someone will be smart enough to combine all the features from various free apps into one super app. But they will never have ARM technology. That's exclusively ours.
