No Bob, my attitude would NOT be the same. I would vote against such a package - given that we will all be given that opportunity when the time comes.
I don't see the point in dealing in hypotheticals ... you will have an opportunity, as will every shareholder, to approve or to vote it down when Cottee's options package is put to us for approval.
(as an aside, if the scenario I articulated came about, Cottee would not hold 15% of the share capital in CTP as you have stated, he would hold nearer 10% since we would have approximateley 1.5B shares on issue - AND he would have had to pay $609M to exercise the options for that privilege - and that $609M flows straight into the CTP cash kitty - his gain on the transactions would have been $54M
If he does that to the share price Bob, he can have 150 oppies - because I will have made nearly half as much as he did!!)
