Hi all. I am a new and very happy investor to AVH.

The reason for my investment in this company or should I say how I came about investing in Avita Medical is probably somewhat different from most of you.

I thought Id share my story to give you all a different perspective. i.e from a patients point of view.

I have/had been living with scars for many many years that were previously considered untreatable until now, namely Hypopigmentation (white skin caused by the loss or damage of melanocytes)
Previously the only options for this condition were V-Tar topical creams, excimer laser, permanent tattooing or needling. None gave satisfactory results if any. All doctors over the last 16 years told me it was untreatable.

About 2 years ago I heard about recell via a friend. Since then I contacted Avita, Fiona herself and numerous doctors all over the world. Furthermore I also researched many case studies and although this procedure is in its relative infancy I decided to take the plunge and have the procedure done while im still young and my skin could still cope better from skin trauma.
Areas of my face were ablated to remove the epidermis. Recell was applied and 5 days later the bandages removed.
My skin healed amazingly fast (5 days) and all the areas that were treated now have new baby skin. Fine wrinkles, sun damage and open pores are either gone or greatly improved. Pigment is returning quickly and definitively.

I am still currently in the healing phase but I am so impressed with the results that I decided to invest (especially seeing the relevant cheapness of the stocks).

I am a complete newcomer to investments so my investment decision comes mostly from a patients point of view. The rest Im picking up as I go along.

It is quite interesting to hear the stories of C3 and how it all started (and got a little messed up) but having dealt with Avita personally they have always been very professional and It appears to me that they are really trying hard to do things right and establish a trustworthy foundation.
They visit alot of patients personally after they have had their treatments and for those willing, kindly request statements from them in order to share their experiences to the public.
They also appear to share information on advancements in techniques or procedures with all surgeons practising with recell. e.g The usage of UV treatment post procedure as an example (imho). Which is probably why UV treatment will be included as part of the FDA trials. I guess this is what they mean when they talk about centres of excellence.

I dont understand why there arent more case studies available from Avita considering >4000? treatments have been performed. I asked Avita and they simply said that most people dont want their photos to be publically visible on the internet. So im doing my bit.

I cannot say that this treatment will work for everybody but it will certainly help many. I personally wouldnt have any cosmetic procedure done without it if I could help it and I cant see why this couldnt be used for any surgical procedure that would normally leave a scar.

IMHO as the doctors treat more and more patients it will become clearer how best it can be used and for what.
It will also be very interesting to see what other advancements there will be with Recell.

Im happy to respond to anyones PMs if you want more information.

Hopefully I dont sound like I am posting in order to plump up the share prices. That is not my intention. I just think this product/procedure derserves credit but hardly anyone seems to know about it!

    I hope this helps :D
