I rode this one from $1.10 and was hoping to achieve a takeover premium. Today, i finally give up after parrot pointed out takeunder. I had the same thought but always forced myself to think we were close to a takeover. The acquirer had used a bear hug on management which is an intention to take over the company. It did not follow up with a tender offer but instead is probably looking towards a market sweep strategy. This strategy will likely benefit the likes of arbitrageurs and leave existing shareholders with little or no premium.
Took my loss and happy to watch this play out for educational purposes. All this is my own opinion.
