Petroleum Nominees Application Refused
Central Petroleum Ltd (ASX:CTP) (“Company”) refers to its announcement made 6 June 2012.


Petroleum Nominees Pty Ltd’s (“PNPL”) application for an order that the Company’s 12.00 noon (WST) 22 June 2012 general meeting has been convened for an improper
purpose and an injunction to prevent the Company proceeding with that meeting has today been refused by the Supreme Court of Queensland.

The Company will commence the process to recover its costs from PNPL.

The shareholder general meetings to be held at 12.00 noon (WST) and 2.00pm (WST)on 22 June 2012 at Duxton Hotel Perth, No. 1 St George's Terrace, Perth, Western
Australia will be held as originally planned in accordance with, amongst other things, the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Company’s constitution.
The business of the general meetings may well have a high impact on the future of your Company.
