Every mine I've ever worked at is a 24hr a day operation 365 days a year so I assume this one will be the same especially since they have a camp set up there. As for the transport , I did some work at a mineral sands mine a couple years ago that were transporting there metals via special b doubles with extra axles so could carry larger tonnages but at a restricted 80 km an hour over 300km. You would hope the containers are modified to hold 60 ton or more otherwise they will be half empty which means a lot of extra containers to be loaded and unloaded causing a huge bottle neck. As I've stated on here before anyone who has had anything to do with minning knows that something that is factored to take two months will actually take four and add to the fact that the mine is remote then add another couple. I wish this wasn't the case but unfortunately it's a reality. I don't think we will see ore sailing off into the sunset until after Christmas .
