dargie, the deferred margin is not due until 2037 ! the whole point is reduce that to NPV so it can be paid early. if they can come to a satisfactory figure they can pay it off, but they can sell the portfolio together with the deferred margin as it is not due for a long time. its just a matter of trying to get the max out of current assets and that mostly means patiently waiting for maturity to get max return. thats why i think it is going to take more time.
As for the NTA - going down 2 cents whilst the sp surges from 18 to 24 cents - life is so strange isnt it?
