Yes!, Parrot, your "views" in this thread may have some merit with others, but I have my reservations about your claims and expressed opinion.
Namely, "an unfriendly takeover bid" - While management approval is not relevant, Shareholder participation IS necessary and I fail to understand and reject any thinking that would suggest that shareholders would "capitulate" and accept "lowball" offers, far below any realistic valuation - EV.
Who do you believe would Sell into "an unfriendly takeover offer", Siam?... Substantial Shareholders (all of them), Scared "piggy bank money" retail holders, Management?
What % could a "Lowball" unfriendly offer possibly attain?.... I certainly would suggest no more than 25%, depending of course on what is considered "Lowball"..... Under $1????... $1.50????
Speculation is fine. Expressing opinion is fine. However, I for one do not agree with many of the expressed opinion on these threads and surely it is my right to state such, as I have done above.
