I did not say it was bad, I am just observing that it is not inconsistent with expectations.
It is a very good hit that points to a confirmation of the upgrade that everyone anticipates. It is no more conclusive than other good intersections that have been announced in the course of trading. It is all good.
Had there not been some sort of leak, this type of disclosure would normally happen in the normal course of trading.
As to the question on how deep you can go, it is only about cost. The deepest mine in the world is in south Africa and well over 2km deep. Recently on cnbc gold special.
The biggest issue seems to be that it gets hotter as you go down, thus you need to pay to keep it cool.
These grades are high so the cost should still be well below marginal.
