Our Matt is definately not a great public speaker. He seemed ill-at-ease and nervous, but what he said made sense and perhaps his business skills are better than he oratory ones. The meeting was definately all about Cvac and how it is supposed to work and from my perspective (definately a layman's point of view) it explained in detail what they are aiming to do. Neil Fraser was impressive and Sharron Gargosky enthusiastic and confident. Both impressed me as being competant in their fields and confident in their product.

Lucy explained the demise of the Dubai pilot programme adequately and Crypto-1....well it didn't work basically.

However, not a sausage about Oral Gardasil which I found rather disappointing....and not one mention about the fall in the share price.

But the ultimate success of this company is in Cvac it seems and that is data driven and as Matt explained it takes a long time to gather this sort of data and get it through regulatory hoops.....years, in fact. And the more data it collects the more valuable the company becomes in its ability to horse trade.

Overall, I got the impression that the board still believe in Cvac and are working hard towards its commercialization.
I am encouraged by the fact that the technology is similar to Provenge and therefore should have an easier path to approval by FDA. But, hey, time will tell and as shareholders we just have to be patient.

At least I now do not feel like the members of the board are positioning themselves for exit from the company because they know the product does not work as I sometimes felt before as the share price plummeted.

Patience, I guess, is needed as there is probably going to be more pain before the gain but I certainly feel more relaxed than I did before.
