The house is in Parmelia, 38 McKean Way. Its an old house, and as i just went to see the tenant (wasnt home) i saw a property that is 4 houses down that hasnt sold for 2yrs. Price is down to $220k, and its a nicer place than mine! Yes my house is pretty dingy bar a new kitchen. If you could buy that property for $200k it would probably be close to positively geared.
On another subject, being a real estate agent is a licence to print money. What i pay my RE agent is criminal for how little they do. All they do is collect rent and call me when there is a problem. Cant see what they are paid for and cant wait for my agreement with them expires and manage it myself!
