Cazz, I have half a brain(I think), and I'm aware it gillards fault, or to be more accurate, rudds fault.

My point is, let's not play the blame game and actually solve the problem. If the Malaysia solution would stop only one boat, surely that's a better outcome. Abbott is now simply viewing the problem as " more boats =more votes".

I agree that we should have a return to the pacific solution, something has got to give! We have two people who are so stubborn, unwilling to give an inch. Abbott needs to prove that he is the bigger man and prove that he is serious about the problem. Remember, he can always fix the problem once he is in office.

Besides, if the Malaysia solution is as big of a fail as Abbott claims, it should only work to his political advantage, right?
