I have never exercised options before, but was wondering if that would trigger a capital gain or loss event for taxation purpose? I am holding heads at the moment and my average is 13.4 cents. Which means I can sell out now and grab some lcyob for .29 cents which after exercising (10cent exercise price) would still be lower than my current average and free up some cash (till I need to exercises the options) Just wondering the implication of exercising options....
