The following comments are my opinion/interpretation only based on announcements so far.

The Buccaneer porphyry (or related porphyry) could be the feeder source to Old Pirate, at depth (kms depth).

At this stage I think OP sits in the Orogenic Deposit category (see diagram on page 17). This suggests that while there is unlikely to be a massive (Au bearing) style feeder at depth AT OP, OP could extend to depths >2kms as a mineralised (or unmineralised) system similar to what we see near surface. It would have resulted from gold bearing fluids souced by an intrusive (ie Bucanneer porphyry) at depth, travelling along a structural feeder, precipitating gold as a result of pressure, temperature or geochemical changes as the fluids accended. The anticline shape we see now is probably a later deformation event.

Bucaneer also is unlikely to have a massive style feeder or cap (see the Cu-Mo-Au stockwork on diagram on page 17). It is more likely to contain low grade gold due to porphyry fluid-wallrock interactions of the same fluids as OP, with potential for higher grades closest to the margin (like Caribbean zone).

As I have stated before, OP is where the main value is, IMHO.
