Chinese backing LNG and they might be wanting to do a deal with the remains of MPO if that was something they were thinking about.
Not looked into LNG's backers but chinese have been active in Canada/USA.
Maybe another comspiracy theory but you would have to think people would have looked at the potential for MPO breakup.........Especially at this SP and a hostile move to boot.
