re: Ann: BlueGen to be used in VPP project in... Gents it is past testing, this is rollout.

Remember IBZ / Callux that has gone very quiet about the CFU units that were installed, why because they have had to cook up their own Callux-Box to compete with Bluegen.net.

IBM Names Worldwide Recipients of 2012 Smarter Cities Challenge Grants to Improve Urban Life
ARMONK, N.Y. - 15 Mar 2012: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today selected 33 cities worldwide to receive IBM Smarter Cities Challenge (#smartercities) grants during 2012.

Launched in 2011, this three-year, 100-city US$50 million program, IBM's single-largest philanthropic initiative, funds in-person engagements staffed by teams of top IBM experts, who study and then make detailed recommendations addressing locally important urban issues.

Why do you think? Altruism yes but also they are going to get the edge. Its more about a bigger struggle for installed unit base. The big protagonists appear IMHO to be IBM & Siemens.

From Elliot Walton re my query of RG Eureka Report.
"Andrew is still travelling so I spoke to him about your enquiries. The report was independently written so some things might not be as accurate as possible. The wholesale selling price to our distributors in Germany is about EUR 20k. This equals about AUD 25k. Plus the distributors cost and margin, the retail price is about EUR 29k (= AUD 36k). Hope that clarifies a bit where the numbers in that report would be based on."

    Cheers
