    Thanks for trying to exploite that. The thread was more about the fact my QLD property has not seen the massive price reductions that are broadly thrown around on this thread, it wasn't about hey look at my loss, try and prove the greater loss, it was pretty simple that all property is not is seeing this massive correction, as usual the media find the worst case and do what you just did.

    I am very basic with my maths-Please help me again.
    In 2007 I put $20k down on a $300k property in Darwin-Farrar. Property's there now selling between $580k-$699k.
    Can you please give me the % of where my $20k investment sits? It was also new-so very little maintenance.

    At a rough guess 1000%-1500% (this is not how I percieve the gain, but surely that is how it must be in your mind Tailspin?)
