Sorry to hear that.
This is tactic played out all the time.
Watch the share, see it go into a TH, see the punters get all excited in anticipation, see the Co come out of the TH without the world changing ann, throw a few large sells on at market and whammo, swoop in for the kill.
Basically, the FA of MNM is better than ever.
Three things to note:
1) The ann was a good ann - not GREAT, but good. However the market today was crappola. So the vultures wait and see how the trades play out for a while. They see no big buying so they jump in with some sells and steal some cheap shares. The 500K sell changed to 300K and the 100K and then was gone, whilst shares got bought in the 8c range.
Bang, all done and dusted in a few hours.
2) A lot of the sells were off screen. So, basically nervous SH's are watching and then come in and sell at market. The buyers in 8c range lap them up.
3) Low volume. When this shake up started it had traded about 600K up until 2-2:30 pm and in the space of 1.5 hrs 1 mill shares changed hands - all in the 8 and 9c range.
Fear - it's a powerful emmotion....so is greed.
The market is very jittery at the moment - you may get another chance to get back in under 9-10c mark before JORC ann.
All the best.
